Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues including pipes, fixtures, and drains
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Perform pipe fitting, soldering, and welding as needed
- Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards
- Collaborate with foremen and crew members on job sites to ensure timely project completion
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
Requirements:
- Proven experience 6+ years as a Plumbing Mechanic
- Valid NYS driver's license
- Strong knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
