About the Role:
PLUMBING & HEATING CORP is looking for a skilled Plumbing Helper to join our growing team in New York, NY! This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your hands-on expertise to a company that values quality craftsmanship and takes pride in keeping New York's homes and businesses running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Measure, cut, and thread various pipes (PVC, copper, cast iron) under the supervision of a mechanic.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness
- Basic knowledge of plumbing tools and materials, along with the ability to follow instructions
Requirements:
- Proven experience 2+ years as a Plumbing Helper
- Valid NYS driver's license
- Some knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations
- Experience with both residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding conditions
